Our 6th Grade Science Class
Welcome to my website! The 2018-2019 school year is on track to be a great year. This science class will cover many interesting concepts for our 6th grade students. It all starts with scientific processes and then we focus on content areas ranging from Physics to Earth Science to studying Space and the Universe. We also incorporate the Engineering Design Process in all of our units. Prepare to step into my classroom and have fun learning science!

-Students, the "Students" tab will be your go to page for all assignments and other resources.
-We use Google Classroom regularly so make sure you are logging in daily.

Mouse over the Units of Study tab for a drop down list of the different units we will be covering this year. Click on a topic for current homework, class handouts, and PowerPoint (ppt.) presentations,.
Parent information and resources can be found on the parent resource page, including information regarding PTA/PTO and student safety.

Cool science in the NEWS...
Our science room is buzzing with life!
-We have all sorts of plants, composting worms (Red Wigglers), a variety of catfish, and a crayfish (thanks to Ms. Newton's 5th Grade class)!
-We also partner with the NJDEP Fish & Wildlife to participate in their Trout in the Classroom program. Our Rainbow trout eggs will be arriving in early October. This is what you can expect to see.
